Additional catering facilities

In addition to the catered meals provided there are a number of retail outlets on site. These include Herbies Bar and Food Outlet, the Linford Restaurant, Martin Hall Bistro, the Net Café, the Hub Café and Langdons Coffee Shop. The opening hours of these facilities vary during the summer months and further details are available from the imago Sales Office.

Audio visual requirements

AV equipment is provided within the delegate package at Holywell Park, see training and conferences. Additional AV equipment can be booked via the imago Sales Office.

Car parking

Holywell Park has its own car park and access to the site is controlled by security barriers. You should enter and exit the site from the A512 / Ashby Road entrance.

Dietary requirements

We are happy to accommodate special diets provided you give advanced notice. Please ensure that your conference organiser is fully aware of your requirements.

Fire procedures

All visiting organisers and delegates must make themselves aware of the Fire Procedure notices, which are located throughout the Holywell Park site. These notices contain information as to the action to be taken in the event of discovering a fire, hearing the fire alarm sounders and with regards to the designated areas of assembly after evacuating a building.

Insurance

The University has insurance cover, including fire insurance, which extends to cover loss, damage, or injury suffered by conference visitors in the event of legal liability being attributed to the University or its employees. These insurances are held with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group. Therefore, there is no cover to protect visitor's property other than as underlined above. Conference organisers and attendees are advised to carry their own insurance.

Liability

imago is unable to accept liability for loss or damage occurring to any property or motor vehicle left, deposited, or parked on site.

Local facilities

On site you will find banks, bars, shops, launderettes, opticians, dentists, doctors, a chapel and extensive sport and leisure facilities. The Food Box and the Union Shop sell a variety of food, snacks, drinks, stationery, magazines and newspapers. Loughborough town centre, which has many more facilities, within easy walking distance. There is also a shuttle bus service, which picks up from Holywell Park every 30 minutes and stops in town.

Medical Centre

Loughborough University medical centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm during student vacation periods. For emergencies outside these hours please contact the medical centre direct on 01509 222061 where details of the doctor on call will be given. Surgeries are by appointment only between 9.30am – 11.30am and 2.30pm – 4.30pm.

Lost property

Any enquiries regarding lost property should be made with the imago Sales Office who will endeavor to locate the property in question. Prepayment for postage must first be received in order for any items to be returned.

Pets

With the exception of guide dogs, no pets are allowed onsite.

Holywell Park is a non smoking site.
